Hazards
Strong tidal current and commercial boat piers on either
side of the site require a high level of attention.
Comments
We find this dive to be one of the most interesting in Maine.
Not only do you get a picturesque drive through blueberry
fields and quaint towns, but also an easy to find site with
high critter diversity. We know of no other area of the
coast where basket stars may be seen on a regular basis.
In addition to the basket stars, expect to see animals present
only at greater depths in Southern Maine: sun and badge
stars, hake.
