Transferring from the Sea

As a marine naturalist with a camera, I study the ocean and its inhabitants on every dive and record the data on film. As a naturalist, I use my images to communicate, educate and identify. As an artist, I look for different ways to represent the ocean's beauty, and try to make images that move us and challenge the way we see the sea.

The majesty of the sea is beautifully interpreted through the combination of Undersea Photography and the art of Polaroid Transfer. This technique gives my photographs an impressionistic look, and allows the viewer to see the sea in a different, artistic light.
